Mr Aymond,
I give you much more respect than you deserve by addressing you as Mr., but nevertheless my upbringing compels me to extend the simplest courtesies and social graces to even the most wretched of our society.

You sir certainly have no credibility to suggest anyone to do anything with their time. In fact even the local courts frown when they see you coming. As I have told you before in past threads, you are defeated long before the verdict is official. Please review again the post I directed to you in March on a previous thread that I have pasted below for your viewing pleasure. And on the "hate' issues you have, I believe that you are so consumed with this cancer of character that it is obvious to ALL that the object of your hate actually controls you in a sick sort of way. Why don't you go help the FED's down in N.O??.You may even get a few "glory" headlines in the Times Picayune.
Sincerely,
JB

My former posts.
I do not believe that everything that comes out of Mr. Aymond's mouth is a lie. But with the outcome of the Hebron allegations, and the consecutive court rulings that favored Dupree, it is easy for many to conclude that Mr. Aymond's actions are rooted in a deep resentment towards Dupree, and others, regardless of what he might say to the contrary.

Unfortunately, society does not forgive and forget a person's past wrong doings such as affiliations with David Duke and the Klan, although Mr. Aymond has renounced both of them. These poor choices will forever haunt Mr. Aymond and sadly, will continue to discredit him with many regardless if what he says is true.

I believe that the best course of action for Mr. Aymond to redeem himself is to "bury the hatchet" once and for all with his adversaries and strive for "peace in our community". Instead of bringing a "fight" to the table I suggest an olive branch. I have no doubt that those that he has relentlessly pursued would be reasonable toward this approach. I believe that someone with his drive and determination could channel all of that energy into strengthening our community by positive reinforcement and not being a self-appointed "political watchdog".

There is nothing but good that could come from this humble approach and would take much "fuel" away from the fire from those that scorn (openly disrespect and dislike) him.

What a refreshingly positive example this would set for young people in the community.

AND another
Mr. Aymond,
I am disappointed that you will not consider my good & peaceful counsel. I also am a proponent of good government and believe that integrity should reign in and out of public office. Your course of action does not depend on the acceptance of others, but the outcome of proving the allegations emphatically does. Remember this, holding a person accountable to the letter of the law wields a sword that cuts both ways. Your questioning of others Integrity in office cause people to consider the Integrity of the source, which at this time in your life is not too credible due to your past affiliations, your past court loses with those currently in office and your persistent allegations to those you have had differences with, while always denying that there is no personal vendetta. The means in which you pursue your endeavor have you defeated long before the verdict becomes official. Here is some wisdom, you should try channeling you allegations through someone that is more reputable in the community and remain behind the scenes.

At least this way there is less likelihood of contempt prior to investigation.

YOU ALL LOOKED LIKE A BUNCH OF DUMBFOUNDED FOOLS TUESDAY AS CHUCK FOWLER WAITED FOR A SECOND ON HIS MOTION.I TOO WOULD LIKE THE ACCESS CHANNEL NOT TO AIR THE MEETINGS IF I WAS GOING TO BE SEEN AS THE IDIOT THAT I AM!!!NOW ALEXANDRIA KNOWS WHAT FOOLS THEY ELECTED IN OFFICE(LAWSON,HOBBS,SMITH,R.JOHNSON,MARSHALL)

Key now would be to pray hard that the changes required to initiate change through City Council personnel will be forth-coming in the next election. Potentially an investigation into City Council action(s) concerning Mr Hobbs ability to "discern" the wishes of the remainder of the Council who he "did not" have any type whatsoever meeting with regarding their opinion(s) ref Channel 4 broadcast/rebroadcast of any & all meetings...
Hopefully, this is all forthcoming... & soon!!!

Perhaps "Prayer Warrior" can convince Ted Haggard to come to Cenla to pray for the defeat of Royal Alexander? Or if Ted is busy getting a "massage", could Jimmy Swaggart lead the congregation? What, Jimmy might be busy counting prayer offerings? Durn, what are these good people to do?

What is wrong with David Duke and the KKK? Why don't we learn more about the KKK? Try comparing the klan to Jessie, NAACP, Al, Ms. black America, negro college fund, etc. Racism is racism. Racism against whites is much worse today than against any other race! Whites who say the KKK is offensive should be saying, "But so is racism against all races"!

Ted Haggard is probably on Royal's campaign team. After all, they have a lot in common, and I imagine both have been very loyal to Mark Foley. We prayer warriors already prayed for Ted Haggard. Now we prayer to Lord in order to implore Him to end Royal Alexander's political career.

The only positive thing that unit did was come up with the Maroon Beret for future paratroopers. And then a member of The Sons of The Confederate... Enough with the bullshit already...if the mayor thinks there is so much unethical or illegal behavior going on then he needs to report it. Otherwise, he needs to do his job-the one that we elected him to do. There is too much that needs addressing in the city for him to be so dang concerned with BB. He needs to get past his paranoid delusions and serve the people that elected him.

Anonymous said...

John K has returned.

Didn't he think the council was out to get him too?

I wonder if JRoy ever needs help getting his boots off. We have an experienced boot licker runing for office right now!

Anonymous said...

Anon said; Enough with the bullshit already...

I for one appreciate Mayor Roy knockin Bridget off to save me an additional 10% of any future Cleco refund I get. If you don't like what he is doing feel free to run against him so we can bitch about you then.

Anonymous said...

Cleco refund? What Cleco refund. Do you really thing the city would try to keep the audit under wraps if there was moneys owed. I am told that Cleco has been strongly in favor of releasing the audit for some time.

Sometimes you win lawsuits and sometimes you lose. Remember, Roy inherited this giant clusterfuck.

Anonymous said...

Why does it seems the Roy Administration is beginning to resemble the Snyder Administration? We seem to be spending more time arguing than taking care of the people's business.

Oh, the COA probably has had to hire another law firm to help out with the FUBARS created by the City's legal Department. Why does it appear our City Attorney appears to enjoy arguing with the Council as much as Roy does?

Who actually is in charge, according to Ordnance, of the Public Access Channel? Has total control been legally given to the Council?

The citizens are owed better than the joke we have now for council and mayor relationship.

Anonymous said...

Roy inherited this CLECO clusterfuck but the managers responsible for the matter, as well as the council, are still on board.

Roy is trying to straighten up situations caused by City Employees, City Council and most especially the City Legal Department. The Charter holds the City Attorney responsible for advising as to legality of actions. Obviously the previous one abdicted his job to become a council ass licker, the present one is a hey boy for Roy and the Legal Office staff bridges the old and the new.

Anonymous said...

I simply don't understand how anyone can fault Roy for adhering to the Charter or blame him for being unable to prevent council misconduct. Do you remember what it was like during the Albin/Myron reign. It can't be very easy to fix a decade of misconduct, self-protective cowardice, and irresponsibility.
At least now we can feel some pride and respect for SOMEBODY

Anonymous said...

If there was no "refund", why is BB fighting so hard for 10%? Think about it.

Anonymous said...

No, the people responsible for the CLECO mess are gone. That would be Sonny Craig and Harold Chambers. They are the ones that got the city into that contract. (plus the council and mayor and attorney for not paying attention) Why do you think they were fired by the mayor?

Anonymous said...

'cause Bridget don't know 'cause Bridget ain't done shit in that case and is still bettin on de come.

Don't you think that there was a definative answer from the audit that Judge Drell would be pushing them toward settlement? How many secrets have been kept this long and this well in Alexandria?

Anonymous said...

what's the deal w/ rebates4ratepayers?

Anonymous said...

OK, after playing the joke of a council meeting over and over again on computer there is one key issue I picked up. According to Mr. Johnson, the REASON Judge Drell has barred Ms. Brown from the proceedings is quite simple - she hasn't signed the confidentiality agreement. SO, if it is this simple and it IS TRUE, then let her sign the damn thing, get the damn thing moving cause I want my money - that is of course, what part I get after the Mayor's cooking partner David Pugh gets his cut since he now owns EMS outright, the lawyers get theirs and Bridgett gets her 10%.

THEN perhaps we can move farward - yes I know I typed farward - and hear finally hear this 100 day play that is way over due, hear the economic development plan that was supposed to be released a month ago, get the details on the rfp for the new electric wholesaler and all the other crap the Mayor has not been able to deviler on because well, he's been busy with Cleco and Ms. Brown.

Anonymous said...

Piss on moving forward. I do not want Bridget Brown to get 10% of my rebates when we have experienced lawyers in Baton Rouge representing us, and Bridget is only in on it because of pull she had with Myron and Kelvin. The Cleco matter, moving forward or not, has nothing to do with Bridget shooting her mouth off.

Sounds like bacteria heaven to me.

Anonymous said...

Bacteria heaven? How about mosquito breeding pond? These are the same people that wanted a pond near the Rapides Primary Health Care Center because it would be "pretty." Once it turned stagnant and became a place for mosquitoes to breed they wanted it filled in.

Who pays when a kid slips and cracks his skull in one of these new spray parks? Who pays when they catch something from the bacteria in the water because they have an open cut? I'll tell you - WE DO!

What City Hall Ass Kisser wrote this?????????

Anonymous said...

What specific criticism do you have of Roy's speach (other than the fact that it could have been said in 20 minutes instead of 45)? I am really impressed (perhaps not quite as impressed as he is) with his courage, determination and vision for Alexandria and central La. I don't agree with everything like the "critical" value of the Bentley, but at least somebody finally has an intelligent cohesive plan and the courage to implement it, in spite of this council.

Anonymous said...

I have observed the accomplishments of the Administration over the "first" 200 days and for some reason fail to see anything being accomplished accept rancor between the council and Mayor's Office.

Not being the brightest bulb in the box please tell me what the Roy Administration has accomplished in 6+ months of service other than tell the citizenry of glorious plans.

What, if anything, has been accomplished to better the life of the average resident of Alexandria. One example of promise with no action is that utility bills are still sky high despite Roy's threat to change suppliers. How long will it take for the Roy Administration to stop talking and do something?

Anonymous said...

What plan has Roy implemented? Be he courageous, able to walk on water or whatever, what has he accomplished but talk?

Anonymous said...

Roy doesn't need to walk on water, just run the city and he is doing that. He has returned the city operation to the rule of law by insisting on adherance to the charter. He has the fast track stuff moving forward. got city car use under scrutiny and control. He is actually using some of the expensive planning and studies to create a system of city expansion that can lead to progress, and he got the goddam provosty firm out of the office.

Anonymous said...

He hasn't returned the city to rule by law. How has he caused the Council to adhere to the City Charter? The Council, Mayor and City Attorney do nothing but argue. Has any issue actually been settled as to what the City Attorney can do and what the Council can do? N0!!!!!!

The only thing he has done is take vehicles away from a few people as a feel good measure for public consumption. Tell me again why the City Purchasing Agent needs a vehicle for emergency purposes.

If you pay real close attention you will find all Roy has done for 200 days is talk. What program has he implemented that you can actually see results being accomplished?

Anonymous said...

If he had formed and implemented a ton of programs in only 200 days, we'd all be crying foul. The talk you accuse him of doing so much of is actually him explaining new programs.

Anonymous said...

So your saying in 200 days all he has been able to actually accomplish is take a few vehicles maway from folks and argue legal shit with the Amos & Andy crowd with the 2 token white folks.

The question I am asking is actually real simple - at least I think so - what has he accomplished in 200 days? That's all. Just give me a listing of tangible accomplishments.

All your giving me is verbose bullshit. Talk is cheap. What has The Roy Boy done for the good of the average taxpaying citizen of Alexandria?

Anonymous said...

whats the matter gramps, the nurse has yet to change your diaper???

Anonymous said...

If you listened to the Roy address you are aware of this administrations accomplishments and goals. I think that, perhaps, you are fighting the premise, either because you are not able to fully comprehend the content of the address; or, the more likely reason which is that you are a negative destructive and hypercritical mutherforker who will always refuse to grant credit where credit is due. Either problem is not easy for you to overcome.

Anonymous said...

I have listened to his little State of the City ego speech and the net result, as your non-statement of accomplishments indicate, nothing has been accomplished but he hopes to do a lot. Hope in one hand and shit in the other as the old saying goes.

Once again please cite an accomplishment besides taking away vehicles from all but fair haired young ones.

Instead of your fancy hyperbole and lack of desire to use the word motherfucker - you might as well the intent is as grevious a sin as actually doing it you know - simply state one progressive thing that has been accomplished.

Police told to monitor Gonzales sprayground

By STEVEN WARD
Advocate River parishes bureau
Published: Jun 26, 2007 - Page: 8B

GONZALES — Gonzales police now have orders to monitor the crowds at Jambalaya Park Sprayground after complaints from local residents about busloads of children from outside the parish using the facility.

The City Council unanimously passed a resolution Monday night directing police to monitor the city park for crowds of children who do not live in Gonzales or east Ascension Parish.

Complaints from local residents, Mayor Johnny Berthelot said, were not just about outsiders using the facility, but children who are too big to be there in the first place.

The height restriction for children using the sprayground is 5 feet or under.

The sprayground is a water park for children that features an outdoor concrete pad equipped with nozzles that spray water.

“We are just not big enough to handle of all of those kids,” Berthelot said.

“The park was built for our local children.”

Well it appears the Roy Boy ass kissers are out in full force defending his first 200 days. Let's see the Mayor lays claim to Fast Track - wasn't that started under the former administration? He lays claim to hiring meter readers. Gee, I believe that started under the previous administration and knowing how long the civil service process takes, I can honestly believe it took 6 months to get someone hired and trained. He took credit for the building code work done in advance of the state mandate. Well since that mandate came out of last year's legislative session, wouldn't those plans have started under the former administration as well?

Come on guys name 1 new thing the Mayor has done, outside of hire all these new assistants, one of which didn't even know a company was expanding and announcing new jobs last week when her job is workforce development, has he done. He has argued with the council over Bridgett Brown. He said we would see his economic development plan for the City, but haven't yet. He said we would have an rfp for a new wholesale electric provider in 2 weeks, but that was 2 months ago.

All I hear is a bunch of big words, some often used incorrectly, to make others feel inferior.

Anonymous said...

Now just a goddam minute! You can attack his integrity, his honor, his ethics, and his hair but you better stay the hell away from his vocabulary. I think its really starting to blossom.

i counted to 10 before this post. some of the posts here make it abundantly clear why alexandria is in its present predicament. if you represent the electorate the answer is obvious. my finger is pointing at the roy bashers. did you see the board meeting with bridget brown? did you see most of the councils position? how in the world do you expect roy to change in 200 days what has been going on at an increasing rate for the last 20 years? i didn't even support roy in the primary. regardless, he is facing a very well intrenched adversary that is perfectly happy with things the way they used to be. he has appointed top notch honorable people and is seeking beneficial change in an organized manner. your bitching about roy certainly will not help his efforts. the really sad part? i think you are the ones that have a vested interest in the "old" ways, and will do anything possible to make sure roy falls on his head. i don't intend to infer that critisism of roy is verbotten. healthy discourse is a good thing. but i repeat, from your posts, your interests have nothing to do with what is best for alexandria, but a personal agenda. have you no shame?

Anonymous said...

have you no shame?

Obviously not, it is left at the door with intelligence.

Anonymous said...

Bravo!!!!! I was not a Roy fan before the election like you.

You absolutely nailed the deeply intrenched bullies 5.

Anonymous said...

I predict things around city hall will get quiet until after the sales tax election in July. They'll use the same tried and true strategy which is to keep the election a secret and then get the city workers (those who can vote) to vote for it.

Anonymous said...

I have never claimed the council to be 7 angels. When I posted earlier commenting on how the Mayor is taking credit for projects started before he took office my comments were directed at HIS state of the city address. I have yet to see ANY council member call a press conference to discuss his indinidual or cpollaborative accomplishments.

I for one am tired of back door deals from both sides of hallway - executive and legislative - and yes, that means his honor has cut some deals as well. As far as the honorable people he has hired, I can only go by what was recently published in that the workforce development officer was unaware of a company expanding their workforce. I have seen no reports from the other staff and the city website still has the old logo and no welcome message from the mayor. To top that off we're months behind in being able to access council meeting minutes.

Again, let me say the council are no group of angels. It would appear, however, they were able to work with the previous adminstration to accomplish many beneficial things for the city - new jobs, a surplus in the budget to provide for operation fast track, and the much debated golf course and Johnny Downs Complex to name a few. While they haven't been perfect, they worked with the former Mayor and others to try to move the City forward. Right now, we're at a stalemate. Let's hope things progress in the next 200 days or we're all in trouble.

BIF gets a case of the red ass but it seems the world keeps on rotating and revolving. One of the freedoms we get to enjoy in this wonderful land we live in is freedom of speech.

If a person believes the Roy Administration, along with the council of clowns, have done nothing in 200 days the person has a right to express that feeling.

Expressing an opinion contrary to the self appointed guru's of this blog site usually results in belittlement, degradation and reflection upon ones intelligence.

The Roy Administration, no matter how you slice it, has initiated no action other than aruing with the Council. You have 2 sets of fools arguing - let a Judge decide what the Charter says. Stop telling us about your grandeose plans and start something.

It is easy for a new broom to sweep clean. Enforce the rules. Brown had no more right to parade around running her head than the gentleman raising hell about his hoiuseboat. Roy had the police escort him out - why not equal treatment for Brigette. She had/has no official position with the City so why let her roam the room offering her thoughts to the Amos and Andy crowd.

I did not know that the Mayor and his administration could start projects on their own and implement them. How awesome is that! This city is going to get changed around, pronto. All we need to do is let the Mayor know what we need for this town and he will implement it. ....... What did you say? You need the council to approve all of the projects? No shit? I thought that the Mayor could just make things happen without the council having anything to do with it? Damn! What a complete dumbass I am. Well then, the Mayor can just run it by the council and they will approve the projects. .....What? The council does not want to approve anything that the mayor wants to implement? From Todays Town Talk

Somebody finally talked about the White Elaphant in the room!

Your mail: Communicate don't obfuscate

After watching the video of the Alexandria City Council's special meeting on the KALP-TV Web site, I must express my disappointment to the council for taking a straw vote not to rebroadcast the June l2 meeting.

Why this particular video? Let's face it, both sides needs to communicate better (where have i heard that before?). This meeting should have gone into private quarters and not been public but it happened. This draws to mind several questions that need to be answered.

1. Why did you want to do away with Ms. Micheals' and Mr. Johnson's positions? From what I see as a taxpayer and noticed, they are doing their jobs.

2. How can a person who has a lawsuit against the city come before the council and discuss the matter of dismissal?
3. Mr. Lawson, with all due respect, how can you comment on Ms. Brown's case when she is your tenant? I would think this is a conflict of interest with your position as councilman and her being your tenant.

4. The judge has spoken on certain matters concerning Cleco info.

5. How are you going to read and discuss the lawsuits one-on-one with the staff? Seems to me that it's just certain ones that become of interest to you. I have the utmost respect for our new government both administrative and the council, but we need to move on and take care of the needs of our city.

I think we are seeing some dirty politics in our city once again. Are we sliding back into our old way of doing things?

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it must be a duck.

Get on with important things that need your attention.

And when you get to that statement pause, and say:

"Damn! What a complete dumbass you are too."

Also say this, "Mayor, You don't know Jack! (that's American for Jacques) If you don't quit pissing off the council, nothing will ever get done.

Remember Bitty Cox and the screw board? Stop it now! You are reminding us all of the John K days, AND THAT AIN"T A GOOD THING!

Like it or not the power resides with the Council. The Mayor implements the Councils Ordnances unless the Mayor vetoes the action but that can be overridden. Like it or not the City has a majority black Council. Like it or not the citizens get to vote for whom they want not whom waterslide wants.

Like it or not the majority of the voters in Alexandria (as indicated by reelecting the Amos and Andy crowd) elected whom they wanted.

Like it or not, the majority of the voters who elect the imbecilic council are more than likely on the public dole and should not even have the right to vote. Those on the public dole for longer than 2 years should have their votes discounted, then we'd see who really should run the city/country.

Yea but shoulda coulda woulda don't count. Middle income americans just get to pay the bills that the majority runs up.

Greg Aymonds wrote (scolded) on his blog:

"While Blacks may have been angry over the racial noose incident, such is absolutely no excuse for ganging up and beating senseless a White boy who had nothing to do with that incident."

Grand Dragon Aymonds....why didn't you state "such is absolutely no excuse for ganging up and beating senseless a BOY who had nothing to do with that incident...."

Why did you feel the need to identify him as a WHITE boy????

Isn't that what you were preaching?????

Has anyone noticed Jacques and the boys have said nary a word about the upcoming tax election in July? I wonder why?

Wonder why the news media feel the needs to identify the color of skin of the individuals? I extract from the clown talk:

"Bell is one of six black teens charged in a Dec. 4 fight at Jena High School that left Justin Barker -- white -- unconscious. The attack and arrests have made headlines from Chicago to China and have been held up as the culmination of racial unrest in Jena."

I will tell you why - because the boy that got beat up is white. The boys charged with doing the beating are black. Has nothing to do with slavery, bigotry, KKK, or any other fucking thing you people want to stir shit about. It has to do with the color of their skin. Story would have lost a lot of meaning if it was reported as 6 boys attack 1 boy. Then Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and every other malcontent, white hating, racial shit stirring son of a bitch in the world would not be in a position to condem Jena.

"6 Niggers beat up 1 Honky" Like that better?

Of course your real purpose is to continue your shit slinging towards Aymond. Your a pathetic bastard.

You aren't being quite fair. Aymond is quite vocal on his blog and others in his dislike for those that are different in race, religion, political or sexual orientation from what he would like to project has himself. He attempts to disavow his "former" membership in the KKK for appearance purposes but he still obviously embraces the same basic bigotry. He obviously believes that blogging gives him some degree of legitimacy and even gave him the courage to attach his Jabba the Hut photograph to some of his postings.

There are many of us who are reasonably educated and accomplished and don't buy into his message of hate and fear for all of our citizens of Asian, Hispanic, Eastern European, and African descent. We see Greg as a proverbial turd in life's punchbowl. He asks for it and he deserves it. He is a professional target. He assumes the societal position of the guy in the dunking booth at the fair. It's OK to throw baseballs at his head as long as you pay him some attention.

Your correct Aymond is vocal on his "blo" and he is a bigot and prejudice and I would not hire him to defend me for jawy walking. Having said that he has the right to freely express his thoughts on his blog. If you don't like his remarks don't read his bloig but keep the hatred and pissing contest off this blog.

Fine start of the day to turn on the puter and see more Aymond hating remarks. I have had enough. Aymond does not post on this blog. We Saw That post on his blog some of the craziest crap I have ever read. However, it is on his blog not this one.

You hate Aymond fight him on his blog. The reason the poster doesn't is the spineless bastard posting the anti-Aymond shit believes Aymond can identify him.

I for one, and I think I speak for others, are sick and tired of this aymond pissing contest. I got no dog in that fight and don't care to listen to it.

Might I suggest that you embrace your own advice and either stay off of this and other sites that post stuff you don't like, or skip over those posts, or start your own blog to attract people of like (small) mind which you could control and regulate to your heart's content, or that you go purchase a small animal to dominate, punish, and outsmart. I think any of these plans will serve you well.

Is this not a question and should end with a question mark?

No you may not suggest anything because then I would forced to tell you to kiss my ass. I would be willing to bet your the spineless bastard posting aymondf hatred crap.

On careful reflection I retract one suggestion. I doubt you could find a small animal that you could outsmart.

That being said, know that your unhappiness and frustration brings be great joy.

Hickory dickory dock,
The Louisiana legislature ran out the clock,
The thought of disclosure,
Revealed loss of composure,

To the many that bill would have caught.

Their chance for redemption,
Through the glass pockets invention,
Was defeated without even a knock.

While it is no surprise
This bill didn’t survive,

As most of our politicians
Are from the same stock.

Oh the same ones fighting to keep Dupree's e-mails secret and some of which have already shown his business dealings with LC and the Aces? Are those the ones you are talkin about?

Anonymous said...

If in fact Dupree is or has used his computer at work for personal use would not he be in violation of City of pineville policy and perhaps subject to legislative auditor investigation? Any of that going on ?

Anonymous said...

jb I'll give you this much -
Farrar voted yes on final passage from the house, yes to reject the senate amendment, and yes twice to send recommit to conference. Now, the question is this, in voting yes to recommit to conference, was he voting in support of having to force local elected officials to abide by the same disclosure he is or was he putting off for another year the entire issue?

Anonymous said...

If my ass. Read Dupree's own Aces and LC emails on We Saw That. Ask Pineville if they have turned it over to their auditor to turn into the Legislative auditor, but my guess is no.

Anonymous said...

Even prior to Farrar's vote to recommit, everyone including Farrar knew that this bill wasn't going to make it. If this bill were placed on a ballot before the public, you know it would pass overwhelmingly.

Adding accountability for local officials wasn't the deciding factor in killing this bill--only the scapegoat. The (birds of a feather) majority didn't want it to begin with.

As for Farrar's motives for the recommit vote, I am sure that he would have it viewed as support for the bill.

And I believe the majority won't be back next year.

Greg Aymond finally provides some insight into the KKK mindset: he only likes white people but he finally posted a photo of what kind of white folks he likes (Buhlow story). I wonder if he as a fishnet hood???

Anonymous said...

The vote on the ethics legislation was engineered so that the people involved in highly contested races could look like they supported it without it ever becoming law. Why would a Farrar ever be pro-ethics/

Anonymous said...

When will you stupid sons of bitches stop bringing us in the middle of your dam war with Aymond. Go to his blog if you want to piss with him, but leave us alone.

Dear entirely uncouth sack of shit,

Has it ever occured to you that YOU may be the one on the wrong blog? Have someone think about that for you. And never forget that your strife brings me great pleasure.

Lets ask Farrar to voluntarily do what he voted for and disclose ALL of his sources of money and even more disclos all the places where he SPENDS money. Think he will do it?

Little Chris's invitation host list to his fundraiser at Jay Luneau's house looks like a "Who's Who" in Alexandria. Can he win in the first round?

regarding another secret cleco/council mtg - since when is the city allowed to decide matters of keen public interest in secret; i bet this is nothing other than a meeting where they'll find a way to pay the lawyers big time fees and give the utility customers a screwing. some transparency

Anonymous said...

Yjey have been allowed to do it since the Open Meeting laws were adopted. One of the exception to the open meetings requirement is to discuss ongloing or pending litigations. So thats since when.

maybe they might step forward and state what they have done for the community other than foster strife

Quint,
The Pharisees will always be Pharisees. That little rhyme by someone signing jb in the last thread was very accurate.

"But there are many things that they do not say
Like what they are doing to make this a better place today
Or what they are giving back to the community you see
Other than griping and complaining of what they think it should be

They offer excuses and ranting and raving
Cursing and spewing obscenities like crazy
They sit in their chairs in front of the TV
Pointing their fingers and exclaiming how it should be

I long for the day patriotic citizens would arise
And unite as one with civic pride
To join in the fight for the greater common good
And bury the spirit of anti-brotherhood."
