Ahh, politics ... left out sentences, presumptions of guilt, need I go on? Such is Louisiana politics. We've taught everyone else this speciality.

Deloris is not going to drop out, she's probably going to announce a "blue ribbon" citizens advisory committee to work with her on potential solutions to all the problems confronting the city.
She has been consistently negative on Roy. I think she is going to try to deliver the coupe-de-nutz to jumpstart her campaign and try to generate some enthusiasm and dinero. The most dynamic way she can do that is to get on the big screen and complain about the personal attacks on her nearly perfect family and declare Roy to be a bona find mother farker. What do you think??

Regretably, she is going to make it virtually impossible for Roy to cut her some slack and let her in the back door to repay some of her campaign debts and have a continuing salary and benefits. Shame. I was hoping she would leave herself a graceful and productive out. She can always go accross the street and cook for Roseanne.
I don't think she would hold a press conference to announce that she is going negative. It's too early for that kind of strategy this early in the runoff, anyway. BIG negatives work best when done the last day or two before voting. That way, it stays in the voter's minds, and there is not enough time for the opponent to refute the negatives.

JR does not stand to profit from the Cleco deal as it pertains to repayment of utility charges (if any) from Cleco, whether he is mayor or not.
He is Sam Sansing's attorney in Cleco's suit against Pugh/Samsing. The question of Cleco overcharges to the City is a completely separate matter, being handled by independent auditors.
Roy is Sam's atty, period. I am guessing Roy is charging Sansing for legal counsel, but even attorneys are entitled to bill for services rendered.
Oh, I forgot. Roy is a bad, bad man because he represents clients.

Don't discount Roy Fletchers intellect. He has telegraphed his plan. He is going to try to connect Roy and Bridgett together as if they are a team. He's slick. Read the press release. She craftily mentions Jaques and Bridgett in the same sentence, then she claims she is going to tear bridgetts contract to peices. Her entire campaign will be designed to soften Roy's white support by insinuating he is allied with Bridgett, Myron, ect.

How can Brewer attack those contracts without bitch slapping Ned? I think Ned is going to get a chance to return to his democratic roots after all.
Ther must be a notification and hearing peiod to be technical (7 days) to be a properly passed ordinance as set forth in the charter. Any variation to procedure may open a challenge to any improperly passed contract and action against the council members involved..

Not only did the Brewer campaign NOT turn away the Roy workers, they allowed David Pugh's boy to tape the whole announcement so he could bring it back to Jaques.

Question - what in the hell does former concrete finisher turned job service employee turned reverend Joe Green have to do with the elections in the City of Alexandria? His church is at Rapides Station. I don't think CFS and Myron have annexed Rapides Station yet so I doubt if his congregation votes in Alexandria.
