Amen!

Tomorrow marks the culmination of two local "hot" races. Maxwell vs. Roy and Slocum vs. Wagner, seem to be the only things being discussed media wide in Central Louisiana. Althought all concerned stated their preference for a "clean" campaign, Louisiana being Louisiana, multiple sources have of course, made that a promise unfilled.

Most of the campaign fodder is so pathetic that it borders on the absurd. The one thing we have not heard is that "my opponent's dog bit the Postman twice last year, and three times the year before!" Personally, I want to know why I should vote FOR you, not against your opponent. One of my biggest turnoffs to vote for an individual are the organization behind them. No I do not mean Democrat or Republican, I have voted for both parties. I vote for the candidate.

Investigate your choices, and take a long look at how the landscape will appear after the election. Many have walked into a beautiful field only to find it laden with landmines.

Until we as a voting public stand up and say enough is enough, we can only expect more of this stupidity. Whom ever is elected to either post, will at least by me, be held accountable to do their jobs. Do what is best for the city, parish and state and you will always have my vote. Do otherwise and I will vote (and campaign) against you the next election.

Conservatively yours ... as always

Vote Maxwell!

How many of us would say no thank you to $20,000 to run a campaign. I personally would say, "thank you for your money, i would prefer you didn't take your ads toward mud-slinging, I'll use your money to promote my agenda." You are a liar if said you wouldn't do the same thing.

I agree anon. Just stop fucking saying that you have nothing to do with these ads, you little homo.

Jeez!!! What class.

I agree, Maxwell has none.

To the poster on the last thread who claims that the allegations against Hilton and Slocum must be true because of their strong reaction---are you retarded? It's just the opposite of what you said. Innocent people would have the strongest reaction to such accusations of wrongdoing. What a dumbass!

The mail piece Wagner sent out with the welcome drug dealer sign on it is one of the nastiest things I've seen since the Brewer rape spot. Ugly, ugly, ugly. I think it may backfire on him.

Don't know who Ed Hooper AKA We Saw That is. Is it the carpet guy. Anyway, this warning bares repeating:

Hey, if anybody out there actually knows Farrah Reyna, you should let her know that the blogger known as We Saw That, a well documented extremist nut, is really weird about her and she should be careful. I don't know this guy's real identity by Greg Aymond does and he might give him up for Reyna's safety.

based on a scientific poll from horn responses to political sign wavers on jackson street and mcarthur drive thursday and friday, i can safely predict a wagner and roy victory.

I read Aymond's blog and he is endorsing Slocum for sheriff. I find this odd coming from a man who says he dislikes Tommy Hollingsworth so much , but they are endorsing the same candidate.

Maybe Aymond really likes Hollingsworth and the water works board.

"LSA-R.S. 14:40.2 "Stalking"

A. Stalking is the intentional and repeated following or harassing of another person that would cause a reasonable person to feel alarmed or to suffer emotional distress. Stalking shall include but not be limited to the intentional and repeated uninvited presence of the perpetrator at another person's home, workplace, school, or any place which would cause a reasonable person to be alarmed, or to suffer emotional distress as a result of verbal or behaviorally implied threats of death, bodily injury, sexual assault, kidnaping, or any other statutory criminal act to himself or any member of his family or any person with whom he is acquainted.

Don't go out alone, Farrah!!!

Frank Hooper is the carpet guy. Ed Hooper lives out in Deville.

Horn honking on Jackson Street might go more for Wagner, but if the sign holders would have been on Hwy. 28 in Pineville, there may have been more for Slocum. As you stated, Biff, it's not a scientific poll. I hope your prediction about Chris Roy winning is correct! I think it's going to be awfully close. But I am predicting a win for Slocum for Sheriff because of heavy support from outlying areas and from minority voters.

With the Town Talk and Aymond endorsing Slocum he is cursed and will be defeated. Wonder were his High School Diploma is. Sure would hate to have to have W. Pate vouch I graduated from Bolton.

I drive by the corners in Alexandria you were discussing earlier. I don't hear that many horns blowing. I predict Slocum will win. All of this nonsense that Roy is throwing around is silly. They have a habit of baiting and when the opposition responds, they squeal like stuck pigs. It's all so damn predictable. I hope Lance swamps him.

Thanks for identifying local blogging kook, we saw that as Ed Hooper. At least he can no longer hide his nastiness behind a nom-de-lunacy. Let's see how he likes sunlight.

I hope someone gets the word to Reyna.

Maybe they can report him to Chuck Wagner. He is our SHERRIF!
